Axel Fitzroy aka Andrej Vasilijevic is a multimedia artist currently placed in Belgrade, blending code, 3D printing, sculpting, rapid prototyping while engaging with concepts of biohacking and mixed realities, shifts between the organic and synthetic, Europe and Nonoland, packing artificial fragments into a hybrid art-design practice. Trained as a sculptor and artist at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade, his early explorations with diverse materials and processes gradually evolved into a practice centered on digital media and interactivity.
